COVID-19 UPDATE: Exploration Green remains open. Please exercise caution due to COVID-19. Visitors should continue to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and avoid touching common objects such as park benches. Read CDC guidelines here.

The Clear Lake City Water Authority will follow orders of Harris County and the City of Houston concerning the public access to county and city parks during the current coronavirus outbreak. Exploration Green will remain open to the public as long as county and city parks are open but will close on the same schedule as Harris County and Houston parks in the future.

Welcome to Exploration Green

The Exploration Green Conservancy (EGC) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to the protection and enhancement of Exploration Green – a permanently-protected, 200-acre green space for conservation, recreation, and flood detention in greater Houston.
