Creating Exploration Green’s 200-acre park and conservation area is a major undertaking. Unlike city- or county-owned parks, Exploration Green must raise funds for everything from native trees and grasses to hike/bike trails, and education programs to park benches.

We offer several options for both individuals and corporations to support Exploration Green. Individual giving opportunities range from online donations, merchandise, AmazonSmile, and memberships. For local businesses and corporate donors, Exploration Green offers volunteer days, event sponsorships, and customized sponsorships.

Exploration Green is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations (with the exception of merchandise purchase) are 100% tax deductible. Please explore the following options to grow some green for Exploration Green!

Commemorative Trees: $200, $500 or $1000
The Exploration Green Tree Program offers members of the community to leave a lasting impact. Through this program, a tree is provided by the Exploration Green Conservancy with an inscribed plaque. Exploration Green already has hundreds of trees planted that may be selected as a commemoration. Or you may select a tree from the tree nursery and work with the Conservancy to plant the tree at a specific location on an undeveloped phase.

Event Sponsorships – Ideal for local businesses!
Exploration Green holds many events throughout the year, such as Glow the Green, Squawk Walk, and Wetland Walkabout in addition to our tree and wetland planting events. Exploration Green seeks sponsorships from local businesses to cover incidentals, such as refreshments for volunteers and promotional signage.
For a cash or in-kind donation of $100 to $200, your business will be welcome to set up a table with promotional materials of your choosing. Exploration Green will also add your business to our local partners webpage for one year.
Custom Sponsor Opportunities – Corporate Branding & Visibility
Exploration Green offers custom sponsor opportunities for businesses, including creation of amenities, structures, or native habitat. Deliverables for your sponsorship investment will include: Name and logo branding; Impact measurement language for your CSR, Annual Report, or press release; Invitations to private EGC events; Company recognition in EGC publications and media releases.
Employee Engagement & Team Building
Volunteer and team building opportunities are available for groups to plant and maintain trees and wetland plants, while also learning proper planting techniques for future volunteer opportunities or in their own personal lives.
